Each individual has various definition, method and habit in time management. The design works in this study were developed based on theories proposed by researchers. Users can enhance time management in daily life by using the products to raise the quality and efficiency of work and life. More and more people are conscious of enhancing time management but they have no ideas how to start from scratch. Some people know the skill of time management but they still fall short of it. This study started from exploring the theories of time management and the evolution of time management assisting tools to summarize the methods and functions of time management. The functions were recording, thinking, organizing, viewing, executing and marking, which were introduced into products by simplifying abstract and complicated theories of time management. Users could realize and manage time easily by understanding the importance of time. Three design directions were concluded from case analysis: (1) the functions of assisting time management, (2) reification of time, (3) the attitude of presenting how time passed. There were three design works in this study. The first work, “DinDone”, was a task magnet designed for providing feedbacks of recording and marking. It could assist recording and emphasize on sensory feedback while users accomplishing tasks. The second work, “CataTask”, was a task classification board combining the Eisenhower principle. It could assist users to think before action while organizing and executing by transforming theories into simple terms and icons through physical objects for maximizing time usage. The last works, “PinTime” was an online platform for sharing workflows. It offered users various options of executing tasks as reference. Chih-Hsiang Ko 柯志祥 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 113 zh-TW |
