Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立聯合大學 === 經營管理學系碩士班 === 107 === Taiwans electronics industry has a key position in the development and growth of the domestic economy. However, from the beginning of the development in 1970, environmental changes such as the trends of mobility, financial Crisis, and the red supply chain have also affected Taiwans electronics industry. Therefore, it is important to understand the operating performance of Taiwan’s electronics industry. This study first uses data envelopment analysis and Malmquist Productivity Index to explore the performance impact of Taiwans electronics industrys operating performance and intertemporal changes from 2007 to 2017. Second uses meta-frontier DEA to divide the electronics industry into three sub-sectors to explore the productivity gap ratio (TGR) of different Taiwanese electronic sub-sectors and the electronics industry. The empirical results show that: (1) the results measured by the group and the meta-frontier are consistent, the industry around Computer and peripheral equipment is the best, the photoelectric is second, and the component industry is the worst. (2) The reasons for the inefficiency of the three industrial technologies are all affected by pure technology inefficiency. (3) The computer technology has the least gap in technology, so it has high technology and resource allocation capabilities. (4) From the analysis of productivity index, it is found that industrial technology changes are susceptible to changes in the environment.
