In recent years, these cultural parks have been criticized by the media and scholars as "mosquito museums" and waste resources. However, it is a bit too narrow to use the number of visitors as a criterion for judging cultural parks. Based on the concept of Eco-museum, the core museum-the Liudui Hakka Cultural Park, and the satellite museum-the Meinong Hakka Cultural Museum are taken as samples of the study, and qualitative research method is used, which is divided into two parts. The first part is the survey method. The data is collected for the research cases, and the "Document analysis" is used to explore the historical context and related Hakka research, supplemented by "Field study" research complements the lack of literature analysis as a basis for understanding the Hakka culture and interpreting cultural parks. The second part is the analytical method of "Iconology ". Using the Iconography to describe and analyze the space, architecture and landscape of the Hakka Cultural Park, supplemented by the architecture and design related literature to interpret the genius loci. Through the official public information, related to the establishment of planning and architectural design magazines, at the level of Iconography studies, the spirit of place extracted on the core museum is the following six points: "Customer-oriented", "Parent-child oriented", "Active life", "Natural coexistence", "Hakka life" and " Loyalty". The spirit of place in the satellite museum is the following five points: "Customer-oriented", "Parent-child oriented", "Active life", "Natural coexistence", "Hakka life" and "Hakkas house for extended family". The same parts of both museums highlight the Hakka cultural image created by the Hakka Cultural Park, its symbolic Hakka cultural meaning; the different parts highlight the difference between the core museum and the satellite museum, showing the historical context of the entire Liudui Hakka culture and Meinong characteristic architecture in local.
