It only took a decade to change people from using traditional button mobile phones to the versatile smart phones, which are used nowadays. For most people, the access to the wide variety of APPs is the main reason why they want to replace an old phone with a new one. Besides, since wireless transmission technology is rapidly evolving, it helps to accelerate the popularity of smart phones worldwide. Different kinds of APPs are available for all kinds of functions and they also take the special needs of the elderly and children into account, which in turn attracts more users of different ages. No matter how young or old you are, you can access to all information you need on the mobile phone anywhere any time. But not all Apps can meet everyone's needs. Some people download too many Apps, but they only use certain functions in a few Apps. Installation of too many Apps can take up too much space, and therefore affect the operation efficiency of mobile phones. If there is a simple and user-friendly development tool allowing people to create an APP according to their own needs and integrate the required functions, it enable people who have brilliant ideas but without App-development background to make the ideas happen. In this way, they can save space in mobile phones. After studying articles related to APP developing, we found out that the CmorePaaS platform which is user-friendly and functional, is suitable for beginners. Without complicated installation process, CmorePaaS platform can be accessed by logging into the account through a web browser. Since it is not difficult to learn, you can easily design a simple and aesthetic interface according to your own ideas, and you can also make various functions according to the manual provided by the platform. It is perfect for people without any program background to develop an App that meets their needs in order to solve the difficulties or problems encountered in life. In this study, we used the CmorePaaS platform to design and develop a mobile travel APP providing information about Penghu tourism, including transportation, accommodation, attractions, as well as open source information such as weather and flights provided by public websites, making the information more immediate, rich and diverse. In this way, by opening just one app, users can get all the information they need for traveling. This research shows that as long as you find the right software development tool like CmorePaaS platform, even for a person with no prior programming background can quickly build a feature-rich and customized APP.
