The App has three different functions: Diagnostic Repot, Video Assistance, and Online Appointment Scheduler. With Diagnostic Report, patients will be able to see detailed diagnostic report after the physical therapist’s diagnosis. In most cases, physical therapists would suggest patients at home for rehabilitation, but patients usually tend to forget how to do it. In this case, Video Assistance can help very well. By utilizing Kinect V2 Sensor and VR positioning technology, Video Assistance will be able to develop motion detection methods to assist physical therapists in helping the patients with rehabilitation, and providing the patients more information of rehabilitation exercises for easier learning. Online Appointment Scheduler simplifies the complicated appointment scheduling system, and allows patients to learning the clinic service details, background of the therapists, clinic environment, and location. For motion detection technology development, researchers and engineers have found that most rehabilitation exercise movements can be accurately detected during the test. However, some certain movements are unable to be detected or the accuracy is affected because of the overlapping body movement. Therefore, improvement in the initial motion detection technology development is needed. For the initial App – Capture development, some patients that have undergone physiotherapy have been tested and interviewed for the research. After the interview and the test, the patients have found that the Diagnostic Repot function can actually help them with rehabilitation exercises at home by providing information and diagnosis. The Online Appointment Scheduler can help patients find the proper clinics depending on their needs. Moreover, physical therapists indicated that the App’s Diagnostic Report function can help them understand the problems that the patients encounter, and give them the best available treatment and advice; these benefits can lead to a more efficient performance. In general, acquiring an official certificate can be the most challenging task that the project will be encountering. According to the FDA Regulation of Mobile Medical Applications, the App this research discusses will not be restricted; however, it still needs to be studied and tested by certified medical personnel to ensure safety and accuracy. The mobile medial application trend will be aggressively cooperating with corporations in medical industry to create more business opportunities based on safety and creativity without violating the related medical regulations. Capture will be engaging and cooperating with clinics, gyms, fitness centers in order to create efficient movement assistance system, promoting the service, and ultimately establish an intelligent healthcare management platform.
