Although Sergey Prokofiev was sick and lied on the bed for the last five years of his life, he still has strong desire of creativeness. The first cello sonata is the original work of this period, it has apparently come to show that in the lator life of the composer, he built rich melody of narrative characteristics in the form of pure classical. The first chapter is the author's research motivation, purpose and method. The second chapter introduces prokofiev's life and the background of this work. The third chapter discusses the music analysis of this work with the form structure, harmony and motive material.
