According to the World Health Organization (WHO) estimation, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is the third place of the cause of death worldwide in 2020. Auscultation is the most frequently used method to identify lung diseases. Its merits include low cost, handiness, sanitation and easy to cooperate. Accordingly, this method is cost effective. Audio signals are invisible, so graphic helps healthcare providers assess and identify specific diseases. Visualization of audio files matters because association between audio signals and graphics contributes to analysis. In order to mitigate progressing symptoms of COPD patients and improve their life quality, many tasks has been applied in parallel, including the establishment and development of national COPD management model, the motivation for the medical institutions to design the patient-centered overall care, the enhancement of the track management of COPD patients and health education services for them, the consultation and long-term track care for patients at home. In addition to the policy initiated and enacted, it is advisable to develop the discipline-fitted application system. The goal of this paper is to, design and build an interactive respiratory sound audio visualization system based on the needs and use habits of physicians/specialists. Hopefully, this research contribute to the valid references in order to extend future COPD patient care to at-home disease process monitoring and medical decision making for those with COPD in the future.
