In recent years, due to the change in the international strategic situation, the CCP has faced an ever-growing hybrid threat. Based on the need to safeguard national security and interests, the military is different in its tasks and roles from the past. Therefore, relying on the “diversified use of the armed forces.” Peoples Liberation Army has begun to carry out anti-terrorism, disaster relief, escort, and peacekeeping missions of non-war military operations in the world. Based on this, the paper understands how the PLA maintains its military operations through military operation other the war under hybrid threats. PLA how to use this strategic opportunity to enhance its existing value, strategic interests international image and reducing the impact of the China threat theory.
