碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 金融系碩士班 === 107 === The maritime industry can be divided into the container shipping industry and the bulk shipping industry according to the different cargo items and ship facilities. Since the cost of oil materials consumed by these two shipping business models is different from the total operating cost. In this study, 10 domestically listed container shipping companies were selected for research from 2008 to 2017, and a DEA data analysis method were used for research. The operating expense ratio and the interest rate of interest-bearing liabilities are used as input variables. The operating expense ratio and the interest-bearing debt ratio are used as output variables. The results of this study show that Evergreen and Wanhai companies are scale returns increasing. Shihwei, Eastern-Media and Wisdom-Marine companies are scale returns diminishing. It is hoped that the analysis results of this study can provide reference for the decision of the industry and relevant management units.
