Description
Summary:碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 107 === The purpose of this study is to explore the process and experience of self-going abroad and during and after returning to the country under the gender and social factors of women. This study used multiple cases to study, semi-structured in-depth interviews with six female respondents, and the use of photos and text as a source of assistive tools. The study found that since the implementation of the tourism open policy in the 1980s, Taiwan''s self-help travel has increased; the convenience of transportation in the 1990s, simplified national procedures and various travel information have given women more travel opportunities. In the new era of 2000, women have higher academic qualifications and improved social status and economic independence. This makes women''s overseas self-help travel more extensive. Taiwanese women''s overseas self-help travel has multiple motives; good communication with family members can be assured and keep in touch with family members at any time to ease the obstacles for women''s self-help travel abroad; fully prepare for homework before travel to ensure that Taiwanese women get better on the road. The guarantee; whether it is a good or bad experience, it will allow women to learn from it, strengthen the female subjectivity through overseas self-help travel, and reshape a different self.
