The purpose of its establishment is the preservation of labor culture and the promotion of labor education, so that the public can deepen their understanding of the labor community and affirm the social value of the workers themselves.
As an important industrial city in Taiwan, Kaohsiung has accumulated a large number of labor and cultural resources. As the only museum in Taiwan to show Taiwan’s labor culture, the Kaohsiung Labor Museum is to convey the value of the labor story. The textile industry has experienced half a century of development and has witnessed and recalled for generations. The labor value and social contribution of laborers need to be affirmed and remembered by society. The exhibition of the textile industry in southern Taiwan''s fashion textile industry is an exhibition of textile industry in southern Taiwan, including a brief introduction to the fashion textile industry. Other experience courses such as weaving, dyeing, sewing and embroidering are available for the public to participate in the study.
This study collects and analyzes the types and functional characteristics of labor museums in other countries and regions. Taking the special exhibition of fashion textile industry in southern Taiwan as the research object, this paper discusses the correlation between labor museum and industrial curation, collects and integrates the labor special exhibition of fashion textile industry in southern Taiwan and the interview of enterprise labor as the creation content of the document. And save this special exhibition content.
