This study intends to know whether students belief in growth mindset is enhanced and whether it has an impact on their learning outcomes. Samples were taken from the eighth graders from a certain junior high school in Tainan Citty; 165 students among six classes had been pre-tested and post-tested. A total number of 165 questionnaires were sent out, and 165 valid questionnaires were collected. The data analysis was run by SPSS to provide the general results of the tests. The result was significant and showed students’ learning effect was slightly improved via the intervention of growth mindset in the Visual Arts lessons. The course also enhanced their belief in growth mindset. The teaching method based on growth mindset has been implemented abroad for a certain period of time, but it has not been promoted or even introduced to Taiwan yet. According to the research results of growth mindset abroad, students with growth mindset are happier and more optimistic toward their learning. Therefore, students with growth-mindset belief are more likely to be motivated and improve their learning.
