In 2017, the cost of domestic travel in Taiwan hit a historic high. Travel costs have continued to increase since then and are projected tocontinue increasing until 2022. Taiwanese travel most during weekends and national holidays. Today, more people use short-term travel to reduce stress. Consequently, government and local organizations have recently combined the local tourism and cultural industry agencies and created a greater variety of travel themes to help old streets become their owndistinguishing characteristics. The purpose of this research is to explore the relationship between holidays and tourism at Xinhua old street. The data for this study comes from a combination of tourist attraction propaganda, and revisit willingness survey. It clarifies the needs of the tourism in Xinhua old street and defines what tourism motivations, experience, and suggestions are.
