Description
Summary:碩士 === 東海大學 === 工業設計學系 === 107 === The traditional market is an important supply center for people's livelihood in human society. Besides goods transactions, it is also a small society for communities to have mutual communications and information exchanges. However, with the change of social and economic structure, the traditional market has declined gradually. Focusing on the value and significance of the traditional market, the research carries out the further field investigation of the traditional market and summarizes the problem consciousness of the traditional market. Furthermore, it tries to adopt the method of exhibition curating in the traditional market and explores the use of a market with the concept of social innovation, which will lead to the benefits and influences for the traditional market space. Then, it can have a further exploration in the possibility of activating the traditional market. The research mainly focuses on the public secondary retail market in Taichung. In addition, the research is implemented from the following aspects:(1) to re-clarify the relationship between the market and people's daily behaviors, (2) to express the market elements in a series of curatorial ways for attracting the attention of the public. (3) to analyze the dynamic research process such as the relationship between the feedback of the exhibitors' opinions and the contents of exhibition curating to explore the benefits and influences of curatorial action on market space or community. From the practical results in the research, it can be learned that up to 80% of the people have a high degree in acceptance of the market exhibition curating. And, if exhibition curating is held continuously in the future, they will return to the market again. Through the practice of curatorial process, the research constructs a curatorial model in line with the characteristics of the market, which can provide relevant planning reference for activating the market in the future. I also hope that the research can provide specific and positive benefits and social influence for the repositioning of the traditional market.
