I also examine whether the interlocking directorate network plays a mediating role between board diversity and innovation performance. The research sample is Taiwan’s listed electronics industry companies that applied for patents in the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) from 2010 to 2017. This paper applies Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to supplement prior literature and research methods. The main findings are as follows: (1) Board diversity has a positive effect on interlocking directorate network size and centrality. (2) Interlocking directorate network size and centrality both have a positive effect on innovation performance. (3) Board diversity can further affect innovation performance through interlocking directorate network size and centrality. HUANG,CHENG-JEN 黃政仁 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 67 zh-TW
