Therefore, the development of public transportation is considered to be an effective way to solve traffic problems. Bicycles are considered green vehicles. Due to energy shortages, rising oil prices, global warming and many environmental pollution problems, governments and political parties have begun to promote bicycles and continue to promote bicycle leisure and sports. Therefore, there are more and more people changed their way by riding instead of walking or engaging in leisure activities. In recent years, shared bicycles have been popular, providing another greener choice for people's transportation. However, this sharing economy is not only successfully implemented globally, and also affects the global bicycle industry. Taiwan and China are important bicycle market in the world. Therefore, this study explored the impact of shared bicycles on the bicycle industry in China and Taiwan , with a view to analyze the causes and give recommendations. This study used case analysis to analyze the following results through online public data: 1. The successful implementation of shared bicycles depends on whether there is perfect control and maintenance services. The promotion of the government is also an important factor. 2. The public's perception of bicycles affects the development of the bicycle industry in the wave of shared bicycles.
