The Environmental Protection Department of the Executive Yuan enacted the Law on Indoor Air quality Management in 2012, but it only regulates the indoor air quality of public spaces. In addition, the traditional decoration materials and process is not transparent enough, easy to cause indoor air pollution caused by future decoration disputes.
As a result of the current management law, it is not possible to regulate the indoor air quality control at home, and there are no relevant norms for indoor decoration. This study uses literature analysis to understand the pollution and harm caused by interior decoration, and according to the problems before, during and after the decoration cycle, draws up the corresponding application process, evaluation standard, record form, evaluation index and detailed items.Its feasibility and detailed rules were confirmed by consultation at an expert meeting, and with reference to the relevant marking system, two application levels, gold-grade and platinum-grade, were determined, each with 30 items and 36 key items for assessment.From design, construction to completion, record and audit can be carried out from "source management", "control in decoration" to "check before use". This study is verified by two decoration cases.Through the analysis and discussion of the verification results, the green decoration certification system needs to be studied and improved.
Two practical cases and before, during and after decoration, the green decoration certification standards are implemented to record and control the decoration process. The results show that both of the two cases achieve the requirements of building materials and transparency of the decoration process. There are also personnel pollution prevention and control in the decoration, but in the final completion and acceptance of indoor air quality, two decoration cases have formaldehyde and TVOC exceeding the standard, according to the green decoration certification code to give a month of improvement period, After improvement, only one of the rooms still produced the phenomenon of TVOC slightly exceeding the standard (0.61ppm).
