The research method is to interview ten business owners and successors of small and medium-sized family enterprises, and ask them to answer the questionnaire designed by the researchers. From the interview data in this study, it is found that most business owners hope that children will have the willingness to take over and slowly start to promote the handover. This part can also be recognized from the perspective of the successor. At the same time, business owners and successors hope to arrange successors as early as possible, and can show that successors have more time to pick up. The majority of business owners consider themselves to be the most important and important source of learning for successors, and external training is an aid. However, the early professional knowledge and experience of business owners may not be in line with the current technological development. Successors must seek more new knowledge and peripheral resources. This is also an important factor affecting whether successors are sufficient to sustain business. At the same time, the results of this study also show that business owners and successors have no absolute grasp of the current environment and challenges.
