In the first subject, we designed a Pd(OAc)2/cationic 2,2’-bipyridyl-catalytic system to catalyzed conjugate addition of chromones and arylboronic acids forming flavanone derivatives as the first step of one-pot reaction, in second step adding iodine which undergoes oxidation of flavanone to obtain flavone product. Then the foregoing flavone derivatives proceeded with demethylation to acquire flavone nature products and medical potential flavone derivatives. In the second subject, our research was aimed to exploit water-soluble palladium catalyst to conduct selective Suzuki-Miyaura reaction of 3- and 4-bromocoumarins and arylboronic acids in water through different temperatures and bases. Next we carried out asymmetric Suzuki-Miyaura reaction to 3.4-dibromocoumarin by one-pot reaction in water and thereby gaining various coumarin derivatives.
