However, this will greatly increase the operating costs of enterprises, and the longer the distance between the departments, the higher the cost is. So, in the market, the prevalence of using fixed-cost computer network and equipped with telephony network can save money. But till now, there is no formal way to allocate the bandwidth for the telephony needs, most of the rule of thumb still depends on the experiences. This paper presents a computational approach based on reliability and takes into account budget constraints for optimal bandwidth allocation, providing another independent and objective calculation method in the industry.
