Materials used in this study are SiC, SAE-40(oil), steel particles, SUS304 stainless steel, stirring mixing SiC and oil, and grinding SUS304 stainless steel with steel particles, slurry solution is lubricated between steel particles and SUS304 stainless steel, adjust the upper pole spacing, lower pole spacing, magnetic pole speed, steel particles weight, SiC weight, slurry weigh, polishing time, changing the magnetic pole hollow and solid parameters to observe the surface grinding and polishing effect of SUS304 stainless steel. Experimental results found planetary bodies double disc type magnetic grinding under the preferred combination of parameters, SUS304 stainless steel original surface roughness Ra 0.12 μm, after grinding for 30 minutes, the surface roughness can be reduced to Ra 0.035 μm, and the improvement rate is 70.83 %.
