In order to face the problem of aging, the development of elderly policies in most countries considers delayed aging. To find companies and partners who can chat with, a good way is to participate in wholesome activities for the elderly. Getting together with people having the same hobby is helpful for sound psychology and socialization of the elderly. With the development of information technology and the popularity of the Internet, mobile devices have been widely used in long-term care. However, there are many mobile applications on the market, which are not very applicable for most elderly people. The user interface is usually not suitable for the elderly.
This study aims to establish an auxiliary system for long-term care based on Google Android development environment, combined with chatbot technology and Firebase cloud service, to provide service of smart and happy aging life in a community and facilitate the connection between the community and the elderly. With our system, mobile device users are free from complicated operations, and the desired information such as community announcement, activities, etc. can be obtained by a simple operation or voice input. The application of chatbot also provides a reference for future research.
