Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 數學系數學教育碩士在職專班 === 107 === The purpose of this study is to find out the best model of the board game “WALEX-GM5”. 172 participants were the players in the game of WALEX-GM5 and those whom were from the third graders to eighth graders in Taipei city and new Taipei city. First, simulated data were analyzed and the mathematical model was constructed. Then the mathematical conclusion will be analyzed, revised and optimized. Finally, the collected data will be put into and check the models. Based on the collected data and data analysis, here are the findings: 1. Optimization model: third model of this study should consider win ratio and binary confidence interval. The advantages are: (1) among the same numbers of game, the more games the players win, the higher points they will get. (2) It is beneficial to those stable players. (3) It can shorten the gap among the player with high weighting score. Thus, it will prompt the players to join more games. 2. Advanced model: it is based on the third model, and M, the mind index is included. It propels the players to challenge problems bravely, solve problems strategically, and practice thinking structurally. According to the findings, suggestions are provided. 1. The model should further discuss how to decide attackers’ best play card index and other game indexes. If the points are the same, the numbers of the games, win ration and mind index should be taken into account. 2. How players play cards and allocate assets should be further discussed. It is expected to help students understand and explore themselves. It can also help parents and educators to know more about the students’ characteristics. 3. Watching more games and learning from how other players play game will help the players make progress. Winning first game will initiate weighted scoring model. 4. Parents and educators should encourage players to enjoy the game and interaction with others. Players will learn more about financial knowledge and be more sensitive to the floating market.
