In this era of image explosion, the ubiquitous invasion of the Internet and advertisement has created more possibilities for the art curriculum. This study aims at Duncum and Eisner's three articles of art education (Duncum, 2001; Eisner, 2001; Duncum, 2002), to analyze the transition from disciplined-Based Art Education to Visual Culture Art Education. With Benjamin and Adorno's theory on emerging mass culture, I will further examine the debate points in the three articles and propose some advices on the curriculum of art education： 1. Rethinking on the fine art and teaching material selection. 2. Critical reflections in aesthetics and curriculum planning. 3. Technology and media application.
