Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 教育行政與評鑑研究所 === 107 === This study investigated current statuses of work engagement and work efficacy among elementary school nurses in Taipei City. A questionnaire was distributed to 192 current elementary school nurses in Taipei City, and 154 questionnaires were returned. Descriptive statistics, analysis of variance, and Pearson product–moment correlation were adopted for data processing and analysis. Results indicated that elementary school nurses in Taipei City had moderate-to-high performance in work engagement and work efficacy. Regarding demographic variables, age, educational attainment, and years of service as a school nurse did not affect the respondents’ work engagement performance, and age did not affect their work efficacy performance. However, educational attainment exerted various degrees of influence on their student care efficacy, self-development efficacy, and administrative efficacy; moreover, their years of service as a school nurse also affected their performance in administrative efficacy. Their work engagement and work efficacy exhibited a moderately high positive correlation. On the basis of these research results, this study proposed concrete suggestions to serve as a reference for schools, elementary school nurses, competent authorities in the fields of health and education, and future research.
