The concept of Chinese Europeanization in the thesis is learnt from Wang Li (2015), Yu Kuang-chung (1987), Yifan Zhu (2011), and Cornelius C. Kubler (1985). After comparing their findings on this issue, the thesis focuses on 31 different types of Europeanization in an attempt to discuss their pros and cons on Chinese and their adequacy in it. Secondly, on Contrastive Analysis, according to Mei-Chun Liu (2012), Raung-Fu Chung (2009), and Ting-Chi Tang (2015), the thesis includes discussions between Chinese and English on their morphological typologies, main sentence structures, sentence order, shared syntax, and distinctive sentence structures in Chinese in an effort to propose the revision advice to Europeanized Chinese-to-English translation questions. Lastly, Posen Liao (2017), Zinan Ye (2013), Huang, Pang Chieh (1987), Si Guo (2003) are the cornerstones in terms of Translating Strategy for the discussions in this thesis on Literal Translation and Free Translation, the possible influence by translation in Chinese-to-English translation questions, and the revision adivce to learners of different language levels. The result indicates that most of the sentence questions analyzed in the thesis can be shortened and diversified without losing their core meanings and hence get rid of the rigid cliché of the stubborn translating sentence structures. Therefore, the goal to making the Chinese-to-English questions more authentic and sound more natural is proved feasible. Toh, Hock-An 卓福安 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 443 zh-TW
