The present investigation aims to improve senior veterans’ life quality by delving into these two topics. The study compares and analyzes the relationships and differences between senior veterans from various backgrounds and aspects of green consumption and sustainable development. With respect to questionnaire and sampling, different questionnaires are employed for each issue, with a total valid sampling number of 400. For the analysis, SPSS Windows 22.0 Chinese Version was utilized. Analyzing methods include: descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, independent Sample t test, analysis of variance and Pearson Correlation. The analyses show different results for senior citizens of different backgrounds regarding green consumption and sustainable development. Furthermore, the Pearson Correlation analysis shows mid to low correlation between the various aspects and the whole scale. The results of the study can be of benefit to the Veterans Affairs Council, local social welfare and nursing institutions and other researchers. It can also aid in the development of volunteers for the caring of senior citizens and the betterment and reference for further academic investigations.
