Yet the profit maximization cannot be the only option to a sustainable corporate in adapting to overall environmental change. The process optimization of an organizations is the lifeline to sustainability. Quality management system is a strategical approach that helps corporate not only to improve overall performance, but to develop continuously on a solid foundation. Therefore this research explores the improvements of operational process and the manifestation of internal and external performance as IATF16949 introduced into a corporate.
This research discusses the performance of the case company by introducing IATF16949：2016. Company’s entire business process was constructed in accordance with IATF16949 norm. Through reviewing KPI performance of each department, examining customer’s satisfaction and operational performance as a final result, some in-depth interviews with managers and high-levels of the case company, the research approaches the benefits on key performance by implementing IATF16949.
The research shows that, by constructing the IATF16949 : 2016 QA system, the processes of each department were operated efficiently, the KPI was regulated effectively and reviewed periodically, internal and external audits were practiced, improvements were constantly implemented. The research shows a positive correlation with final customer satisfaction, hence a profit-increasing result was brought to corporate accordingly. Along with many in-depth interviews with top managers, the research generalize the significance on implementation of IATF16949, that may provide reference to other business who wish to implement IATF16949.
