Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 光電科技學程 === 108 === Nowadays, we are in an important era of energy transformation worldwide. Green energy will be the new driving force for economic development in the future. In Taiwan, we continue pursuing new green energy to replace nuclear power, such as solar and wind power ,geothermal energy. Both of them are the target green energy development and we hope to become nuclear-free homeland in Taiwan. The government has passed The 5+2 Industrial Transformation Plan, which is also included the Green Energy Technology Industry Innovation Plan in October 2016. Based on the environmental protection needs of the island, we has introduced large-scale domestic and foreign investments to promote green energy technology, and upgrade solar power industry development, as well as improve the employment rate. This research will include the effect of the photovoltaic conversion efficiency on the surface cleanliness of the solar photovoltaic modules. It mainly focus on the simulation of the outdoor environmental contaminant on the solar photovoltaic module. There are 3 materials in this experimental project, including particles, crystalline salt, and trees. The surface is covered by contaminant both in solar photovoltaic module and simulation software in the experiment. Under the same condition, the conversion efficiency of solar photovoltaic module is affected by environmental contaminant, and the similar outcome appears in COMSOL simulation software too. The particles and crystalline salt are quite similar to the environmental contaminant coverage condition. If the surface is covered by contaminant, the voltage value is largely reduced by 76.5% from without any contaminant covered. While the surface is covered by crystalline salt, the voltage value is only decreased by 17.6%. The above experimental data could provide a reference to the current cleaning on the surface of solar photovoltaic modules, and how to evaluate the frequency of the periodical cleaning, as well as the ways of cleaning to enhance the conversion efficiency of solar photovoltaic module would be a key study. Key words: surface cleanliness of solar photovoltaic module, outdoor environmental contaminant, COMSOL simulation software
