The aim of this study was to examine Christian youth belief, more precisely of those that are active in the Church of Sweden. More specifically, how youth leaders in the Church of Sweden view Jesus, who he was for them and how he was represented in their lives. To conduct the study qualitative semi-structured interviews were used. Five youthleaders from the Church of Sweden in Kronobergs län was intervjued. The theories used in this research were theological incorrectness developed by Slone and optimal effect developed by Whitehouse. The results show that Christian youth leaders in the Church of Sweden tend to make their own sense of Jesus, his miracles and his life. Results also show that there might be an openness to letting the youth interpret the different biblical histories as they see fit. There might also be a lack of education from the different churches on Jesus, but more research needs to be done to establish more solid evidence of that. Because of a short timespan for the research only five interviews where conducted. This makes the result non generalizable and should only be viewed as a insight to youth belief.
