Description
Summary:As context-aware systems are becoming popular in modern society, artificial intelligence will have to consider the norms of society. However, norms and personal goals can conflict with eachother complicating how an artificial intelligence should act. In this thesis I will present a decision making algorithm for evaluating contexts where the user has preferences and are affected by norms with deadlines. The norms and user preferences can have varying levels of importance. The algorithm is demonstrated with a operational example of the algorithm on a use case of planning a user’s visit to a smart city.
