Description
Summary:Real-time system analysis tools and WCET analyzers both need information aboutthe hardware to obtain the results. However, the current hardware models are eithertoo abstract or too detailed. Therefore, this thesis proposes a new hardware descriptionmodel that achieves the balance between two spectra; hence it is easy to use by the userswithout hardware expertise while not compromising too much accuracy. Along with thenew model, an accompanying application is implemented to help the user work withthe new model easier with its drag and drop interface. Furthermore, the application canfunction as a WCET analyzer by connecting to the Gem5 simulator, which facilitatessimulating and measuring the execution time of the programs.
