This paper discusses how image processing algorithms can be used to automatically create a relational database, which indexes the video archive. This feature extraction can be performed either upon acquisition or in post processing. The database can then be queried to quickly locate and recover video segments with certain specified key features 2005-10 text Proceedings 0884-5123 0074-9079 http://hdl.handle.net/10150/604893 http://arizona.openrepository.com/arizona/handle/10150/604893 International Telemetering Conference Proceedings en_US http://www.telemetry.org/ Copyright © International Foundation for Telemetering International Foundation for Telemetering
