Precise strong lensing mass profile of the CLASH galaxy cluster MACS 2129
We present a detailed strong lensing (SL) mass reconstruction of the core of the galaxy cluster MACS J2129.4-0741 (z(cl) = 0.589) obtained by combining high-resolution Hubble Space Telescope photometry from the CLASH (Cluster Lensing And Supernovae survey with Hubble) survey with new spectroscopic o...

This translates to a high-precision mass reconstruction of MACS 2129, which is constrained at a level of 2 per cent. Together with the cluster mass profile, we provide here also the complete spectroscopic data set for the cluster members and lensed images measured with VLT/Visible Multi-Object Spectrograph within the CLASH-VLT survey. 2017-01-07 Article Precise strong lensing mass profile of the CLASH galaxy cluster MACS?2129 2017:stx015 Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society 0035-8711 1365-2966 10.1093/mnras/stx015 http://hdl.handle.net/10150/624505 http://arizona.openrepository.com/arizona/handle/10150/624505 MONTHLY NOTICES OF THE ROYAL ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY en https://academic.oup.com/mnras/article-lookup/doi/10.1093/mnras/stx015 © 2017 The Authors Published by Oxford University Press on behalf of the Royal Astronomical Society OXFORD UNIV PRESS |
