The rates of the charged-current decays Lambda(c) -> ne(+)nu(e) and Lambda(c) -> n mu(+) nu(mu) are predicted to be (0.405 +/- 0.016(stat) +/- 0.020(syst))vertical bar V-cd vertical bar(2) ps(-1) and (0.396 +/- 0.016(stat) +/- 0.020(syst))vertical bar V-cd vertical bar(2) ps(-1), respectively. The phenomenology of the rare charm decay Lambda(c) -> p mu(+)mu(-) is also studied.
