This development proceeds by outlining the basic theory involved in the simulation of induction motors. This is followed by an analysis of the various integration methods available for the solution of ordinary differential equations. This analysis being primarily concerned with determining the most efficient means of solving the set of equations used to describe induction motor response. The third part of this work explains the development of a distributed processing system that was used to achieve the simulation.
