Summary:Hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC) is an autosomal inherited cancer syndrome, affecting individuals with colonic and extracolonic cancers. To date, although numerous important studies on HNPCC and Familial Colorectal Cancer have been carried out, many areas require further evaluation. This thesis aims to explore various topics surrounding HNPCC and Familial Colorectal Cancer, in particular, the identification of at risk families and colonic cancer screening.
