An experimental study of single, dual and triple wide-blade hydrofoil impellers : power and homogenisation characteristics
Unaerated and aerated power and mixing characteristics were studied in two agitated vessels. In one of 56cm diameter (T 56) single impellers with a liquid height giving an aspect ratio AR of 1 and dual and triple 1 impellers (AR = 2) were used in the turbulent region. In the other of61cm diameter (T...

Mixing times and homogenisation were also measured in T56 using a decolourisation technique for dual and triple impeller configurations of APV -B2's under unaerated and aerated conditions.
