| Summary: | Diploma thesis Development of song production in The Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren involves in its introduction part the historical context of The Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren formation and its musical heritage. The main part of the thesis is concerned with the influence of different phenomenons that participated in the creation and formalization of the church songs. Not only general environmental influences, historical epoch or artistic style, but also specific music system elements can be found in these songs, this substance is described in the second part. A number of songs from evangelical hymn-book illustrates the specific impact of individual factors. There are six fields subjectively selected for analyzing the topic in terms of contemporary evangelical church music and church service in the chapter Song analysis. This part contains 12 comprehensive analyses of evangelical songs. |
