Summary: | The thesis focuses on the activities of pedagogical-psychological consultation centers with special attention to group re-education of children with specific learning disabilities (SLD). The first part offers a brief description of specific learning disabilities and the activities of pedagogical-psychological consultation centers. The main topic and aim of this thesis is the description of group re-education and the characteristics of its each area. This topic is supplemented by a considerate focus on the use of group re-education in pedagogicalpsychological consultation centers in Western Bohemia known as "SPUCH" - a course for second-year children (offered by the pedagogical-psychological consultation center in Klatovy). I have also included a case study of a client, who has participated in this course.
