The thesis concerns the needs of the clients starting to live in sheltered housing. The theoretical part focuses on the rules and procedures of psychiatric rehabilitation. The possibilities and different situations of the community care in the Czech Republic are described. The care is based on the psychiatric rehabilitation, particularly on the rehabilitation regarding housing. In the practical part the circumstances which usually lead to the enrollment of the clients in sheltered housing are introduced. Further, it describes their expectations and evaluation of their fulfillment. Last, the future plans of the clients of heltered housing in the area of housing are examined.
