of the diploma thesis Title: The Spirituality of the sacrament of marriage according to The Theology of the Body by John Paul II. This diploma thesis is based on the book The Theology of the Body by John Paul II, which is a collection of his catecheses addressed to listeners of his Wednesday general audiences between 1979 and 1984. The diploma thesis focuses on several important aspects of spirituality of marriage included in these catecheses. The thesis consists of three parts. The first one deals with circumstances, which encouraged John Paul II to write up these catecheses. The second part discusses some specific catecheses in which the author discovers particular aspects of marriage spirituality. In the last part the author concludes the key aspects of the marriage spirituality on the bases of his previous reflections.
