| Summary: | Title of the Dissertation: The Development of Ice Hockey in Havlíčkův Brod Aim of the dissertation: The aim ofmy dissertation is the documentation of such a popular sport like ice hockey, undoubtedly popular throughout our Republic, particularly in Havlíčkův Brod :from its inception upto the present day. Method: Researching on archive materials and going through periodicals was very helpful to me. I have also used interviews with veteran hockey players as well as the contemporary stars of world hockey, who in fact come :from the Brod Kotlina(Basin).
