Summary: | Doctoral dissertation brings comprehensive compilation of health and disease problematics in the context of education. Its goal is to contribute to todays scientific discourse of the health phenomenon, provide overview of until now scattered findings and to enrich present knowledge with results of instrumental case study. Work is based on findings from many sciences, however unifying overview stems from phenomenology. First section is theoretical-methodology study of health, disease and quality of life. Second part is an essay about the relationship between health and education. Third part is an empirical study of subjective health of a pupil. Outputs from these three parts lead to the conclusive theory, that can too be thought of - as a result of qualitative research - as a new hypothesis: education is the key determinant of human health.
