The thesis "The psalm 118 in history - liturgy context and its references in The New Testament" introduces importance od psalm 118 in bible-teological relations. The thesis briefly introduces general psalm description, its history, structuring, relevance for the Jewish nation. In next step the thesis dedicates relations between the psalm 118 and The New Testament, especially with person of Jesus Christ (for example: Mt 21,25n, Mk 12,10, Acts 4,5-12, Eph 2,19-22, etc.). The thesis describes an importace of the psalm in the liturgy context. The thesis explains different kinds of interpretations of the psalm 118 in details and accetns importance of the psalms in Jewish nation Bible history and in comtemporary people lifes, both in view of psalm-writers, Jesus Christ, The Old and The New Testament.
