| Summary: | This masters thesis has two aims. First one is to examine and describe positions and opinions of czech exporters on economic diplomacy. For this thesis I conducted a series of elite interviews with representatives from czech top export companies. Second aim is to examine whether the czech economic diplomacy is closer to the preferences of exporters or preferences of the state. In the second part of the thesis, I am performing a content analysis of the interviews, documents of economic diplomacy and statements of main actors of czech foreign politics. The main object of the analysis is the relation of actors towards three selected teritories - Russia, China and EU. I am then comparing the positions of given actors. This thesis concludes that we cannot say for sure whether czech export strategy is based on preferences of state or preferences of exporters. |
