Summary:This dissertation is researching the relation between projected moving picture and performance forms in scenic space.It is describing the differences of perceptive models of theatre and film and it deals with their mutual penetration and their transformation.Further it is trying to count out the basic types of relations between the media, to take in the different principles of putting through and forming media and to apply the common regularity in order to comprehend the relation of theatre and projection.It is describing in main points the history of science and technology permeating the theatre from the beginning of 20th century to nowadays.Several characteristic examples of contemporary use of projection and technologies on the stage are picked up and analysed in terms of technology and dramaturgy.Through these particular examples and subjective authorś experience the work is trying to reveal some regularities of the relation between projection and performance.
