[pt] A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar a importância da leitura, escrita e letramento em História como pilares para a formação de cidadãos conscientes de sua importância como sujeitos históricos transformadores dos seus espaços sociais. A pesquisa teve como objetivo a elaboração de um produto final que pretendeu valorizar a formação de alunos autores, escritores e contadores de História a partir da construção de produções textuais inspiradas nos conteúdos trabalhados em sala de aula. Participaram da pesquisa os alunos dos nonos anos, turmas 900 e 901, da Escola Municipal Vereador Edemundo Pereira de Sá Carvalho durante o ano de 2017. A compreensão da diversidade de percepções dos trabalhos finais contribuiu para que se repensasse o ensino de História dessa instituição alvo da pesquisa. === [en] The purpose of this research was to analyze the importance of reading, writing and literacy in History, as the pillars for the construction of citizens awareness of their importance as historical subjects in transforming their social spaces. The research had as objective the elaboration of a final product that tried to value the formation of students as authors, writers and storytellers from the construction of textual productions inspired by the contents worked in the classroom. The students that participated in this research were from the ninth grade, classes 900 and 901, of the Municipal School Councilor Edemundo Pereira de Sa Carvalho during the year 2017. The understanding of the diversity of perceptions from the final works contributed to the rethinking of how to teach History on this institution.
