|a The article presents a set of Renaissance, Baroque and more recent glass from excavations in the centre of Ludanice from 2005 to 2007, which aimed to localise the extinct Benedictine Monastery of Sts. Cosmas and Damian. A smaller part of this set can be associated with the period of the 16th to 17th centuries following the abandonment of the monastery, and a larger part with the running of a farmstead belonging to the Chapter of Nitra which was built here in the 17th/18th century and closed in the second half of the 20th century. In terms of glass products, in most cases they are torsos of glass vessels (mainly bottles and glasses), and to a lesser extent flat window panes. Only two quite unspecific fragments can potentially be associated with the mediaeval monastery, but these are also open to more recent dating. © 2021 by the authors.
