Definitive profile-dispersion data for germania-doped silica fibres over an extended wavelength range
New results are presented for the wavelength dependence of the profile-dispersion parameter P in optical waveguides fabricated from germanosilicate glasses. These results show that P is independent of both GeO2 concentration and thermal history of the glasses.
